Day 1 - Coming to New York City

We meet at a hotel in New York. On this day, there will be time for check-in, rest after the journey, getting to know the surroundings of the hotel and for those who have the remaining strength, for their first walks around Manhattan.

Day 2 - New York City - Middle Manhattan

That day we will visit midtown Manhattan. First, we will see the largest train station in the world - Grand Central Terminal, then we will visit the famous New York Public Library. We will rest for a while in Bryant Park, walk through Times Square and Broadway. We will see the Empire State Building with our own eyes. Finally, we will move to the modern Hudson Yards district, where we will see amazing architecture and the iconic building called The Vessel.

Day 3 - Lower Manhattan + Brooklyn - Dumbo

We will start the day with a ride on the famous New York subway to Lower Manhattan. There we will change to a ferry that will take us past the Statue of Liberty - the greatest symbol of New York, and perhaps the entire United States. And that's just the beginning of the experience! We will pass through the financial district and the famous Wall Street, where everyone will be able to take a photo with the Charging Bull! The next stop on the tour will be Ground Zero, the site of the terrorist attack of September 11, 2001. At this point we will see a new tower - One WTC (the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere). In addition, there is the 9/11 Memorial with two weeping fountains, in memory of the victims of that tragic day. At the end of the day, we will go to the famous Dumbo and walk on the legendary Brooklyn Bridge.

Day 4 - Roosevelt Island + Central Park

It's time to relax! We will start this day with a cable car ride from Roosevelt Island, where we will have the opportunity to see Manhattan from a slightly different perspective. Then we will spend time in Central Park, for lunch we can have a picnic like real New Yorkers! At the exit from the park, we will see the Plaza Hotel, known from the movie Home Alone in New York. Everyone can spend the rest of the day at their own discretion, shopping on the famous Fifth Avenue or trying American cuisine in nearby restaurants. In the evening we will go to the Top of The Rock observation deck. Take our word for it... it's hard to imagine a better farewell to this city.

Day 5 - Washington D.C.

We will leave for Washington early in the morning. The bus will drop us off at the National Mall, where we will start our tour. Be prepared to walk a long distance, because the distances between the most important attractions are large. On this day we will see: - The Capitol, the White House, the Abraham Lincoln Mausoleum and the Washington Monument. Everyone will have the opportunity to enter the museum of their choice. For our part, we recommend: the National Museum of Natural History and the Air and Space Museum. We will also eat delicious pizza in Washington!

Day 6 - Philadelphia

It's time for a city famous primarily for its history - Philadelphia. Few people know that it was the first capital of the United States, associated with the revolution and independence of this country. It was in Philadelphia that the heart of the United States began to beat, the United States Declaration of Independence was signed here and the world's first Constitution was written. We will visit the historic part of the city, then go for lunch, where we will try the famous Philly Cheesesteak. At the end, we will run up the Rocky Steps together and take a souvenir photo together at the top!

Day 7 - Atlantic City

We will spend the whole day in Atlantic City. After a short ride, we will reach the beach, where you will be able to enjoy the sun, a beautiful beach and the soothing sound of the Atlantic waves. In the meantime, you will be able to walk along the famous promenade and buy souvenirs. There will also be time for shopping at a very nice outlet - Tanger Outlets. After returning to the hotel, we will spend the last night together during our trip.

Day 8 - Back to New York City

This is the last day of our trip. What can I say... all good things come to an end. We will end the trip at the Port Authority in New York. The planned return is at 3:00 p.m. at the latest. And then it's time to go home or continue your journey across America :)

Practical tips from us to you

The trip program was created in such a way as to provide participants with the maximum number of experiences in the cities of the East Coast of the USA. Staying in the cities, but also traveling between them, will allow everyone to visit America in an interesting way and feel the atmosphere of a real American roadtrip.

The fact that we are traveling in a group does not mean that participants do not have free time. We offer flexible tours, so anyone who wants to implement their own individual sightseeing plan has the opportunity to do so. Throughout the trip, everyone can count on the guide's advice and help if needed. Thanks to this, we can visit without rushing and manage our time individually.

Breakfast in American culture differs significantly from the standard of morning meals in Europe. They usually consist of coffee/tea, juice, toast with butter or jam and cereal. Therefore, we try to look for accommodation locations near large stores such as Walmart or Target. Thanks to this, you can stock up on basic products such as vegetables, fruit, bread and drinks almost every day of your trip.

Some hotels offer free Internet access. However, the connection and its quality may be unstable. The signal strength mainly depends on the distance of the room from the nearest Wi-Fi transmitter. Sometimes it is better to use the service in public areas where the signal is stronger. Some hotels charge a fee for internet use. Usually in this case the quality of the service is higher.

One-of-a-kind pack of students on a J1 in the USA!

Live this adventure and have that trip you will remember for the rest of your life!
